Clarian Health
Clarian Health wanted to expand its orthopedic clinical department at University Hospital, thereby increasing the number of orthopedic exam rooms and optimizing its storage areas.
Cripe Architects + Engineers provided Architectural, Interior Design and Equipment Planning services for this project.
This project added five additional exam rooms, a therapy area, a full-sized (35 person) conference room and medical records storage space. In addition to meeting Clarian’s needs for clinical department expansion, Cripe also designed an aesthetically pleasing environment for the patient population, and upgraded the examination experience from both an architectural and equipment standpoint. Cripe assisted Clarian Health in the equipment scheduling and in the coordination of delivery and installation of equipment.
This project was to be completed as quickly as possible, since business continued throughout the expansion and space constraints were a reality. The project was done in two phases in order to minimize disruption of staff and patients during construction.
