Bridgewater is a 580-acre, mixed-use development located in Hamilton County. The project included the construction of a Pete Dye-designed, 18-hole championship golf course, a clubhouse, and a trail system connecting all of the property, apartments, town homes, commercial uses and single-family homes. Many of the sites are maintenance-free. One special feature in this community is a 1.5-acre lake, approximately half of which is lined with limestone retaining walls. There are also two formal garden areas, a gazebo and a trail system to the entire Bridgewater Club.
Cripe Architects + Engineers provided Survey, Master Utility Planning, Civil Engineering Design and Agency Coordination services for this project.
Cripe Architects + Engineers’ services also included the development of a roundabout along 151st in Westfield, Indiana. The City of Westfield required this roundabout be designed to the largest semi-tractor trailer truck allowed on Indiana state highways. Through cooperation with the city, client, and developer, a roundabout meeting was organized and the national standards for roundabout design was achieved.
