Mapleton Fall Creek Development Corporation is undertaking a significant development on the near north side of Indianapolis at Central Avenue and Fall Creek Parkway. The development will include a diverse mix of commercial and residential properties, for a progressive mix-use property. The property will include:
A community commercial building, for small scale, community oriented business in about 12,000sf.
Two mixed-income apartment buildings offering about 140 one, two, and three bedroom options.
A grandfamily apartment building, focused on three-generation family needs offer about 35 two and three bedroom options.
A commercial/residential building with destination tenants in about 15,000sf and market rate housing offering about 30 two and three bedroom options.
Development amenities will include a common park and playground, as well as a community gardening plot.
When completed, the development will afford options and opportunities for a diverse mix of live-work-plan options, while bringing new energy and investment to a community ready for reinvestment.
Cripe has been involved with the site master planning and architectural design of three buildings. The construction cost will be approximately $30mil with completion anticipated in the fall of 2016.
