The City of Fort Wayne needed to separate its storm water system and sanitary sewer system. The project consisted of a partial separation of sewers to reduce basement backups, flooding , reduce standing water in the neighborhood and to alleviate sewage discharges to the St. Mary River from combined sewer overflows.
