Cripe was honored at the Indy Chamber’s 2016 Monumental Award Ceremony for our recent work at Penn Place Apartments!
In 1996 the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Presentation (CHIP) identified Indianapolis’s chronic homelessness problem and enacted its 20/20 Vision. In 2016 – the plan’s 20th year – Penn Place Apartments opened as a safe haven for the chronically homeless in search of medical aid and supportive housing.
The renovation and additions resulted in a completed 28,000 square foot facility with 38 apartment units. Along with the apartment units, the complex includes a twenty four hour onsite medical treatment facility operated by Midtown Community Mental Health Center a subsidiary of Eskenazi Health.
Congrats to our team on this outstanding recognition!
