On Friday June 12th, Jennifer Lasch, PE, LEED® BD+C, Project Manager of Civil Engineering, graduated from the Hamilton County Leadership Academy (HCLA). Jennifer was selected by the HCLA last August to participate in this long standing and respected leadership program whose mission is to educate and inspire leadership to create a positive impact in the community. Throughout the program she was exposed to community leaders, best practices, and insider views of business; local, municipal and state government; education; and health and human services to name a few. In addition to the monthly curriculum, Jennifer was required to attend two community meetings or local community service work as well complete a class project. For her class project, Jennifer and her team focused their program on philanthropy and community service (no surprise there – Jennifer is a great champion of community service and heads our Ila M. Badger Community Service Award Program.) Connect 2 Community will debut next fall at Fishers High School and will enlighten high school students to the value, impact and offerings in community service in Hamilton County. Cripe is happy and proud to be a sponsor of Hamilton County Leadership Academy and also fund Jennifer’s tuition through Cripe University and our continuing education program.
