Cripe Board of Directors and Advisory Council

Board of DirectorsCripe has been fortunate, throughout its history, to have key strategic advisors who provide guidance in identifying business trends and future opportunities. To ensure that Cripe continued to receive this kind of external advice, Chairman and CEO Alex Oak created an official external Board of Directors in 1995. The Board of Directors is a sounding board for ideas and its members have encouraged us to pursue new opportunities, including entering into new market sectors, offering new professional services, and growing and formalizing our continuing education programs.

The Board of Directors’ role is to ensure that the leadership of the firm is committed to a strategic planning process that will position Cripe for the future, especially as it relates to the following:

  • Top Line Growth in order to preserve the foundation of decades of history and to provide opportunities for future generations of ownership.
  • Recruitment and Retention of outstanding professionals in the field, including the opportunity for team members to grow within their own area of expertise through a specific continuing education program ranging in curriculum from BIM/3D modeling to the management of a consulting firm.
  • Streamlining of Processes. We recognize that our clients demand excellence, value and performance at a fair price. In order to accomplish this, the Cripe Board of Directors expects us to strategically consider how to best add value and increase performance while developing a better, faster, less costly process.
