Nineteen new examination and treatment rooms, five secured holder rooms and one “Center of Hope” rape victim’s seclusion space were added to the Intensive Diagnostic Treatment Unit (IDTU)/Secured Holding unit which was relocated to accommodate the expansion. The Apheresis/Infusion unit was also relocated and expanded from 6 to 8 treatment beds. Other areas that were relocated and expanded were the Point of Care (POC) Testing unit, the Blood Bank and the EMTC Administration area.
