This month’s community service feature is on Marketing Content Coordinator, Taylor Crenshaw!
Taylor, once an intern with us, has been with Cripe as a full-time staff member since January 2019 and is very involved in the Indianapolis community.
Promoting education is one of her passions and she displays that through volunteering as a tutor with School on Wheels Indianapolis and sitting on their young professionals board, SPOKES. Last year, she was also paired with a scholar through Starfish Iniative, an organization that pairs high school students who will be the first in their family to attend college with college educated mentors.
She is also a part of the Spring 2021 Leadership United cohort through the United Way of Central Indiana. Through that program she is also a board fellow for Youth Connections in Franklin.
“I knew that I wanted to get involved in Indianapolis as soon as I graduated college and I’ve found great organizations that are making big impacts in the lives of young students. There’s nothing more imporant than giving back however you can!”
Taylor has also been known to help raise money for other organizations in any way she can, even if it means participating in an adult spelling bee as she did for Friends of Riley pre-pandemic. She and her husband also rescued a shelter dog, Axl Rose, and they donate supplies to several drives throughout the year.
