Talent + Brand Coordinator, Christy Villas, PHR, SHRM-CP, goes above and beyond for the people and animals in her community. She is involved with Paws & Think and READ with her dog, Bailey. Christy and Bailey became a therapy team in 2017 and they haven’t stopped since. They provide comfort and educational opportunities to those who need them most.

She and Bailey also volunteer at the Julian Center, hospice centers, Brooke’s Place, memory care centers, and she is an injured animal foster.

To say that Christy lives the values of generosity and love of community that Cripe fosters in our employees would be an understatement. Because of her involvement and the care she gives to her community, Christy was recognized as our 2020 Ila M. Badger Award winner back in November at our virtual Founder’s Day event!

Christy says, “I volunteer in hopes of showing the person, group, child or animal that someone loves and cares about them. They are worthy of that love no matter the circumstance. The love I receive in return is immeasurable and limitless.”
