The new 152,000 sf Health Professions Building is located on the south side of Riverside Avenue in an area that is transitioning from primarily residential to solely academic.  The project included schematic design, design development, and construction documents as related to the storm water management and utility design associated with the new academic building and related site.  Cripe worked hand in hand with the landscape architect team to provide input on the site layout and grading to develop a sustainable site on this transformational portion of campus.  The site was developed with thought and preparation for long-term planning and future projects within the vicinity of the new building, including campus and City projects.  The project was developed with sensitivity to vehicular and pedestrian access and circulation.  Cripe was instrumental in the extensive utility coordination with campus and non-campus utilities.   Coordination of permit submittals, bidding, and construction administration were also included in the scope of services.
