Bethel Park Aquatic Facility
Architecture, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying
In the midst of the 2009 summer season, the existing Bethel Park Pool was closed to the public as the infrastructure had deteriorated beyond repair. This difficult decision was undertaken with the promise of rebirth.
A year later, the community celebrated the grand opening of a new facility which provides a 25-yard, six lane lap pool with volleyball and basketball equipment, new deck furniture, a three-story speed slide, shade structures, picnic tables and a zero-depth wade-in area with a central play structure. The facility is also fully accessible for the disabled.
