Cripe was part of the design-build team with GDI Construction to design a manufacturing facility for Brevini Wind, an Italian company which manufactures planetary gears for wind turbines. The project is located in the 332 Business Park along Interstate 69 in Yorktown, Indiana in Delaware County.
The site design included on-site stormwater detention basins, parking lot layout for 152 parking spaces, truck dock areas including trailer storage, and utility services to the proposed building for sanitary sewer, water and fire main loop, electric service, telephone service and cable television. The site design also included provisions for a future building expansion and a railroad spur which was provided by the County.
