The Butler University Campus is located in the Booth Tarkington area of Indianapolis, Indiana.  The university is under-going a campus expansion project including new student residential housing and academic buildings.  Due to the university’s location adjacent to residential districts, parking is a premium and the proposed housing projects result in a need for parking.  To address the University’s parking needs, design is currently underway for a new approximately 1,030-space parking garage and multi-use facility. This will be the first parking garage at Butler University’s campus.  The proposed garage is a 6-tier cast-in-place structure with a precast concrete façade to replicate some of the Butler University features found elsewhere on campus.  Cripe is providing the civil engineering services.
