St. Vincent House
Architecture, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying
The St. Vincent House is a 26,900-square-foot, two-story building with 20 living units and a common space short-term apartment building. The facility is used for the families of patients who are being cared for at the pediatric oncology and NICU departments at St. Vincent Hospital. This facility, located in a quiet, wooded lot about a block south of the hospital, provides a sheltering place for families in search of care and respite. Cripe was the lead project manager coordinating the multi-firm disciplines to deliver the design for the owner. Cripe Civil Engineering was responsible for the site design, working closely with the Landscape Architect to provide a safe, peaceful, and natural site. Cripe’s Survey team provided services including topographical, ALTA, and boundary surveys.
