Williams Park Watermill
Architecture, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying
Williams Park, a 78-acre park is the site of the Watermill Splash pad. The splash pad concrete and surface coating was shaped like an oak leaf which is specific to the Brownsburg Parks logo. Cripe re-designed the existing parking lot and sidewalk infrastructure and added a new parking lot and sidewalk network to support the increased community participation. To secure all local and state permits, Cripe designed a Green Stormwater Detention Area on the park grounds utilizing the Green Open Space which saved the project $200,000. In addition to the stormwater design and splash pad layout, Cripe coordinated with the utility companies so the proper services could be brought to the splash pad for operation. Cripe provided overall project management services on this project to alleviate staffing availability for the Parks Department.
