Personal
Originally an Indianapolis westsider, David has called central Indiana home his entire life and currently resides in Carmel. David and his wife, Julie (the real star in the family serving as the Commissioner of the Horizon League collegiate athletics conference) are raising two wonderful daughters. His sports-centric family centers around his daughters’ activities including soccer, basketball, and volleyball through the Carmel Dads Club where both David and Julie coach. Weekend getaways include spending time at the lake, bass fishing, golfing, and enjoying nature while hiking or bicycle riding. Many people have said that David ‘out kicked his coverage’ when he found and married Julie. Her career in collegiate athletics has afforded David the opportunity to attend many collegiate sporting events including Horizon League Championships, NCAA March Madness and the Final Four in several locations. Spending time with family and friends is extremely important to David including his involvement with his faith family at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. A typical Friday night, outside of the sports seasons, you can usually find David at home with his girls (including the family mini-golden doodle) having a family movie night.
