The Breakwater

The Breakwater is a multi-family residential complex located in the heart of downtown New Albany’s business district. This is a privately and publicly funded project that includes 191 luxury apartments and 1650 square feet of streetfront retail space. It also includes the re-use of an existing 100 year old automobile sales building.
The site includes a leasing office, fitness room, conference area, and a soft seating amenity. The space adjacent to the building includes a pool, outdoor bar, casual seating area, and outdoor grilling. Due to a portion of the project being located in a historic district, it was required to get approval from the local historic preservation commission.
