Saxony Medical Center is to be the first acute care hospital in Fishers, Indiana. Indiana University Health hopes to establish the center as a national model for new urbanism with fully integrated, communitybased health and wellness programs. The Medical Center is to be built in phases, with the first phases to bring primary care, surgical, cardiovascular, sports medicine, imaging, chest pain and urgent care services, as well as a sleep center. The 44-bed acute care hospital will be approximately 200,000 square feet, and the medical office building will be approximately 100,000 square feet.
