As a treasured asset to the community, the physical premises require periodic repair and replacement of building envelope components. Cripe was contracted to assess the physical repair and replacement needs of the exterior envelope. With our MEP partners, we inventoried the physical components, evaluated the current state or service, projected the remaining useful life, and forecasted the near-term and ongoing capital needs. This resulted in a façade enhancement project to stabilize and maintain service for the foreseeable future. Cripe’s team of experienced design professionals is versed in new construction and the sustaining efforts required to own, maintain, and operate existing facilities. Facility Condition Assessments are a meaningful way of forecasting capital needs and reducing the risk of urgent, emergency repairs because of deferred maintenance.
