The Bridgewater Club
Civil Engineering, Land Surveying
Throgmartin-Henke wished to develop a vast tract of land into a golf course community, of which the golf course and clubhouse would be the first phase. These would be the largest amenity for the community while adding value to the surrounding property. After the golf course was complete, houses would be added to the surrounding land.
Cripe aided in the creation of both the clubhouse and the golf course. The course is a championship Pete Dye design; its creation involved extensive permitting, drainage, streets, and utility coordination. Cripe worked closely with the golf course designer and the owner to maintain existing natural features. The clubhouse included two pools, a conference center, a health center, locker rooms with lounge areas, a restaurant and bar, and basement parking for golf carts.

Because certain events had been booked in advance, the clubhouse had to be completed within a certain time frame; the developer also was unable to begin construction on surrounding homes until the course was finished.
