Hamilton Southeastern Junior High School
Civil Engineering
Cripe was the civil engineer and site designer for the new Hamilton Southeastern Junior High School located on Cyntheanne Road at Southeastern Parkway in Fishers, Indiana, as part of the design-build team assembled by The Hagerman Group. The project was the first public bid design-build project for Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation. The two-story school was designed with an extensive drive and parking system to accommodate parent drop off with a separate drive and parking area for school buses. The site was designed to allow a future overnight bus storage facility. The campus also included a 400 meter IHSAA running track with interior football field, tennis courts, and the required recreation fields for physical education. The cross country course utilized a portion of the school site but also extended into the Town of Fishers Cyntheanne Park which is immediately north of the school site.

Services
The utility design for the site included an extensive off-site sanitary sewer main extension, an on-site sanitary sewer system that traversed the site to serve future undeveloped, adjacent properties, a storm water management system consisting of four interconnected dry detention basins, an extensive storm sewer system and the construction of an offsite drainage channel to transport storm water to a creek. The water main extension to serve the site was designed by the water utility; however, the layout and on-site water system was designed by Cripe.
