Cripe provided civil engineering design services for the Clinical Quad project on the IUPUI campus. The Clinical Quad project included the replacement of interior roadways and parking within an academic Quad space with pedestrian walks, a circular, recessed green space, public art, a loop drive, and reserved parking for disabled persons.  As part of the project, a private sanitary sewer main was also replaced with a modern PVC sewer main connecting to the combined sewer with the benefits of new infrastructure under the proposed pavements and reducing infiltration into the sewer system. Cripe worked with the University to develop both a vehicular and pedestrian maintenance of traffic plan to provide for safe travel of vehicles, students, visitors, and staff around and through the project construction area.  Cripe obtained the required permits from the City of Indianapolis and the State of Indiana to facilitate construction and provided services through construction.
